TEKNICON LTD is a multidisciplinary local consultancy firm, established in June 2009 and registered in Tanzania with the Engineers Registration Board as a Local Engineering Consulting Firm. The company provides professional technical design, consulting engineering, construction supervision and project management services to public and private sector clients.

The firm is wholly owned by Tanzanian nationals and is legally registered under the Companies Act. TEKNICON is also a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers Tanzania (ACET), confirming its standing within the professional consulting engineering sector.

From its offices in Dar es Salaam, TEKNICON delivers practical, cost-effective and quality-driven engineering solutions for buildings, infrastructure, warehouses, bridges, hospitals, terminals and industrial developments — combining strong technical capability with hands-on project management and construction-stage support.

The company maintains an independent consulting position and focuses on professional judgement, responsive client service and practical engineering solutions suited to local, regional and global project conditions.

TEKNICON applies quality assurance procedures that prescribe the checks and audits required to ensure soundness, correctness and interface compatibility of engineering solutions — implemented in accordance with applicable laws, codes of practice, technical standards and project-specific requirements.

Technical review
Design calculations and drawings are reviewed before issue.
Interface coordination
Structural, civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical and quantity surveying inputs are reconciled.
Site inspection
Regular inspections, reporting and review of contractor submissions during construction.
Monitoring
Quality, schedule, budget and compliance with the contract documents, tracked throughout.
Close-out
Final inspections and support through the Defects Liability Period.
Health, safety & compliance
Registered with the Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA), with every statutory and professional licence kept continuously active and compliant.
